Store Policies

Accepted Methods of Payment. At this moment until my credit card system is setup we are only accepting PayPal, Money Orders, and personal checks for payment.  Thank you for your understanding.  We accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We also accept personal checks and Money Orders (with a 10-day hold for the check to clear).  Checks can be mailed to the Plano Texas location at the bottom of this page.  Please make checks or Money Orders out to Kern Hardee and put Radar Detectors-Plus in the note section of check. 


Cancellation Policy.  Cancellation of orders has to be done within 24 hrs or until item is shipped.  Time to shipping varies and item can be shipped fairly quickly, depending on when order was placed.  Items are sent to carrier at 9am and 3pm CST.  If you would like to cancel your order please email support@radardetectors-plus.comCancellation must be in the subject field of the email.

Shipping Time. The time needed to ship merchandise will vary depending on the shipment's location and the particular time of year. Shipping is usually done same day or next business day. Customers should expect a 3-10 weekday delivery time including handling time depending on the delivery service you choose.  Handling time is usually one day. 


Shipping Methods. Merchandise will be shipped using USPS Priority® Service where possible as default shipping method. All shipping services will be available upon check-out if you would like to have your item or items arrive more rapid than Priority® shipping. In addition, some items may be shipped directly from the manufacturer to customers.  If paying by PayPal, Money Order, or personal check, shipping occurs only after payment has cleared.


International Shipping Methods.  All International shipping is done by USPS Express® International which provides tracking for your convenience.  Please email us for a quote on shipping charges before you place your order so I can give you your shipping charges that will be charged to your PayPal account or Credit Card.  If you are not using the above email link, please put International Shipping Quote in the Subject line of email.  Radar Detectors-Plus is not responsible for any tax or duties from customs of the destination country.  All orders refused because of not paying duties or taxes will be subject to a 15% restocking fee upon refund of your money.  Thank you for your understanding.


Damaged Shipments. Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier. If any cartons are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on the freight bill. If you notice concealed damage after the driver has left, keep all the packing and call the freight carrier to return and inspect the damage and file a claim. We are not responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.


Manufacturers Defects. If a product appears to have a manufacture's defect, email our Support department for instructions. Do not return products to us without first contacting us to receive instructions. If an item is to be returned to us due to manufactures defect, you must first receive a Return Authorization Number. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package.


Return Merchandise Policy. Permission for any return merchandise must be secured from our return department. You have 30 days from the ship date to receive refunds. You must email the refund request to support@radardetectors-plus.com (with "RETURN" in the subject field), at which time the return authorization number (RA#) with return instructions will be sent to you. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package. Products being returned must have a RA# issued before returned.

If you received a different product than initially purchased, the item must be returned with the following:

·  All original contents (product, manuals, instructions, etc.).

·  Original packaging.

·  Original invoice or receipt.

Any returns that are missing any of the above will be subject to a 15% restocking fee unless it was our mistake.  


Once a return is authorized by our return department you should:

  1. Return the item to the address given to you by our return department.
  2. Write the Return Authorization Number clearly on the box or package.
  3. Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of returned merchandise. Returns shipped via U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) or with a value of over $100.00 should be insured. We cannot be held liable for return merchandise that does not reach our return department.

We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error. You are responsible for all freight charges on shipments that are refused or returned with no fault on our part and are subject to a 15% restocking fee. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages or losses to defective products, errors in shipping your order, or other errors. The limit of our liability is the replacement cost of any item you purchase from us.
